Americus



Campbell Chapel AME Church

The 153rd Church Anniversary will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Sunday February 12. The host church is Samaritan Fellowship Church at 103 Carter St., formerly Allen Chapel AME Church. Guest preacher is Pastor Morris Hillsman of Shiloh Baptist Church, Ft. Valley. The service will also feature the Shiloh Baptist Church Family and Male Choir and a praise dance by Robert Maye. Honoree of the event will be Brother William Powell, retire educator and American Legionnaire.



New Mt. Mariah

Pastor Leon Pace and members of the church invited you to our Pastor’s Installation at 2 p.m. Sunday February 12. Rev. H.C. Wilson will be the speaker. Dinner will be served.



Corinth Holy Bilble Church

Men and Women Day services will begin at noon February 12. Speaker for the occasion is Elder Sheila Williams.



Leslie United Methodist Church

A revival, “Draw Closer to God,” starts at 11 a.m. Feb. 26 featuring the Rev. Eddie Braswell, and continues at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26-28. Special music is provided by Angela Westra, Sunday; Caroline Harpe, Monday, and Clint and Lisa Holloway, Tuesday. Nursery is provided. For information call 874-8191.

Greater Springs Baptist Church

Pastor A.D. Brown and Greater Cedar Spring Baptist Church cordially invites you to the first sermon of deaconess Trynesa K. Jackson to be held at Greater Cedar Springs Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. We are looking forward to seeing you on this joyous occasion.



Lebanon Baptist Church

The Christian Family Cluster Circle Ministry invites youth, ages 6-18, to a Valentine Extravaganza at 7 p.m. Friday in the church Fellowship Hall. A very informative evening is planned and a spaghetti dinner will be served.

Missionary Baptist Church

Tuesday Night Live Service will be at 7 p.m. February 14. Pastor E. Terrell Carter will deliver the message. The church will celebrate Valentines Day with supper immediately after service. You are cordially invited to attend.
