Good News Ministries

At 7: 30 p.m. Jan 12 a one night Men’s Conference will be held. Pastor Robert Lawson of Albany will bring the message. The public is welcome to fellowship with us.



New St. Paul Baptist Church

Installation services for Rev. Michael Walker will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday Jan. 15. Rev. Henry Hogan of St. Luke Clay will be in charge. Everyone has a cordial invitation to attend.



Anointed Voices of Americus

The group’s sixth anniversary is observed at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Oasis World Outreach Church. Groups on the program include The Related Gospel Singers of Toombsboro, The Anointed Ones, of Macon Min. Tommie Barber and The Discipleaires of Ashburn, Out of Darkness, of Milledgeville, The Bonnet Gospel Singers of Milledgeville and many more. Admission is free. The public is invited.



Evangel Temple of God Church

The annual Women Day Program is at 3 p.m. Sunday. Speakers are Elder Gloria Bryant, Sister Mary Cladd, Missionary Gail Pickett, Elder Jana Kleckley and Prophetess Carol Lundy. Dinner will be served.



New Ebenezer Baptist Church

The church and its pastor, Jerome Jones sponsor “The Four Gospel Writers” benefit program for Deacon Daniel Tatum, Sr. who is undergoing radiation treatments in Albany at 5 p.m. Jan. 28 featuring the Rev. Jerome Jones, the Rev. Carl Munns, the Rev. Glenn Bryant and the Rev. Travis Rush. Also featured is Anointed Praise (Henry and Susie Smith) of Tuskegee, Ala.



Buena Vista

New Life Temple of Deliverance Ministries

Healing and Deliverance Crusade, hosted by Pastor Vera Holt, is at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Jones and Butts Center. Refreshments will be served.

Jackson Grove Baptist Church

The Usher Anniversary will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday January 15. Minister Alice Reddick of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Leslie will be the guest speaker.



Ellaville



Friendship Baptist

Association

Baptist churches in, Macon, Dooly, Lee, Sumter, Taylor, Webster, Stewart, Schley and Marion counties, sponsors a major Men’s Conference entitled The Pastor’s Patriot’s Conference at 7 p.m. Jan. 20 through noon Jan. 21 at Friendship Baptist Camp. Features the Rev. Glen McCall of the Georgia Baptist Convention will focus on men’s issues as family leaders and members of the community. Cost of the conference is $25 which includes the supper meal, breakfast and lodging at the camp. For information call 937-2350.



William Grove Baptist Church

Deacon Eugene Tookes preaches his Initial sermon at 3 p.m. Sunday. The public is invited.

St. John Baptist Church

The Adult Choir’s anniversary is celebrated at 3 p.m. Sunday. Everyone is welcome.



Plains



Antioch Missionary Baptist Church

The senior choir anniversary will be observed Sunday Jan. 15 along with regular service. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. followed by worship service at 11 a.m. The public is invited to attend.



Smithville



Jerusalem Grove Baptist Church

The pastor’s first anniversary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. nightly Thursday January 17-19. The Tuesday Jan. 17 service will feature  Rev. Tony Smith of Leesburg with Hopewell, Beulahland and Mt. Pleasant. The Wednesday Jan. 18 service will feature Rev. Leonard Boston of Vienna and Bethlehem, Mt. Able, Zion Hop and Greater New Lebanon. The Thursday Jan. 18 service will feature Rev. Jack Johnson of Leary along with Green Grove, New Hop AME, New St. Paul AME.

At 2 p.m. Sunday Rev. Douglas Currington of Psalm 27 Full Gospel Ministry of Dawson, McAfee, Greater Cedar Spring and Mitchell Grove. The public is invited. At 5 p.m. Saturday January 21 the youth choir will have a concert. The public is invited.
