United Holiness Church

Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church

The church’s 132nd anniversary is celebrated at 7:30 p.m. today with Union Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Rev. Larry Sims, and Friday with Big Bethel Baptist Church and the Rev. Calvin Rollins, culminating Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. with St. Matthew Baptist Church, Leesburg. The public is invited.



Scott’s Mater C.M.E. Church

A Black History program is at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Speaker is the Rev. Mathis K. Wright.



Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church

Little Mr. and Miss Allen Chapel are crowned at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The annual Women Day is celebrated at 3 p.m. Sunday with Sister Rosemery Jones of Cobb as guest speaker. Everyone is invited.

New Bethel Baptist Church

A Black History program is held during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Speaker is Milton Bentley of Springhill Baptist Church, Roberta. Everyone is welcome.



Reaching Out Abundantly Ministry

The Rev. Amos Whitehead of Montezuma is guest speaker at 11 a.m. Sunday at the old Union Whitely Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome.



Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Worship Center

The Campbell Chapel Brantley/Childers Women’s Missionary Society invites everyone to Rainbow Celebrations to honor senior members for service to the church. Themed “Down Through the Years,” the honoree program is at 4 p.m.. Feb. 24 with Minister Harriet Rouland Jones of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ellaville, as guest speaker.



Increasing Words of Truth Ministries

Prayer and Word Confession Night is at 7 p.m. Friday.

“Far Above Rubies” is presented at 5 p.m. Saturday at 1424-B North Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

A Youth Revival is at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19-21. Speaker is the Rev. Calvin Rollins of Big Bethel Baptist Church, Americus. The Youth Day Celebration continues Feb. 24 with Prayer Service at 9 a.m., Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.

Jerusalem Grove Baptist Church

A Women in Red program is at 6 p.m. Feb. 23. Speaker is Minister Gregory Cutts of Dudley. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited.



New Hope A.M.E. Church

Black History is celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Michael Edge as speaker. Theme is “Remembering the Past, Looking Forward to the Future.” Big Bethel Freewill Baptist Church choir renders the music. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited.
