Greater Cedar Spring



The church’s 104th anniversary will be observed beginning with  Sunday school at 10 a.m. The pastor will be Pastor A.D. Brown. All surrounding churches are invited.



New St. Paul Baptist Church

We invite your church family to come worship with us on our annual Men’s and Women’s Day program at 11 a.m. on October 7 along with regular service.





Salem United Methodist Church Homecoming



Salem has had 176 years of proclaiming God’s word and being involved in ministry to our community. The church is located at 903 Upper River Road. On October 14 we will be celebrating  homecoming. This year Rev. Woody and Cyndy Roberts will be joining us for this day. Rev. Roberts will be preaching at the 11 a.m. hour followed by a covered dish luncheon in the fellowship hall. The Roberts served our church from 1979 to 1984. Pastor Marion Smith and members of Salem cordially invite all family and friends to join us on this special day.



Welcome Baptist Church

Everyone is welcome to come out to our “Annie Bell Foster Mission” that will be held at 11 a.m. October 7. Rev. Charles Miller will be the speaker for the program, which will be part of our regular first Sunday meeting. We are asking everyone to come out and participate with us in this honor. All members are asked to pay their shoe size as a donation to go towards the mission. Everyone else wanting to make donations is welcome to at their own discretion.



World Church

Ministries

Annual revival services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly Tuesday October 9 through Thursday October 11. Apostle David Holt is the speaker, pastor Shabach prophetic world international ministries in Americus and Macon. Everyone is invited to attend.





Oak Grove Baptist Church

Americus OES Chapter #26 will have a Fruit of the Spirit Program at 3 p.m. Sunday October 7. All area churches, Masonic #14 and the public are invited.



Campbell Chapel AME Church

The Vivian Bryant Angel Choir 21st choir anniversary will be held at 4 p.m. October 21. All special guests are asked to render an A and B selection.



New Jerusalem

Baptist Church

Men and Women Day will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday October 7. Pastor George Deriso of Freedom Harvest will be guest pastor. Everyone is invited.





Old Corinth

Missionary Baptist Church

The 50 th Choir anniversary and banquet will be held at Magnolia Manor. The banquet will begin at 6 p.m. Guest speaker will be Lillie Ann Harris Evans or Marietta. Tickets are on sale for the occasion. Contact Connie Hollis, Virgina Dennard or any member of the choir for more information. The Rev. Dr. C.L. McKinstry, Pastor.

New Beulah Baptist Church

The 53rd choir anniversary will be held at 4 p.m. October 7. Everyone is invited to attend.





Spring Creek

Baptist Church

Women’s ministry will be sponsoring a free clothing give away in DeSoto beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday October 6.



Ellaville



New Corinth Baptist Church

The church will be celebrating our annual Church and Pastor anniversary (123rd church anniversary and Rev Brian Ramey seven years of service as pastor) at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012. Sunday School is at 10 am. The speaker for the occasion will be Rev Sardis Shealy, Pastor of Lower Sardis Baptist Church of Richland. Dinner will be served.



Plains



Greater New Lebanon Baptist Church

Tuesday Night Live will be held at 7 p.m. October 9. Speaker of the Hour is Pastor Nick Hillery.



Smithville



Zion Hope Baptist Church

The 136th Church anniversary will be held Tuesday October 9 through Thursday October 11. Services start at 7 p.m. each evening. Tuesday’s speaker: Pastor George Edge; Wednesday: Pastor Michael Edge, Thursday: Pastor Hosie Waters.

A unity concert will be held at 6 p.m. October 13. The speaker will e Minister Prurince Dice Services will climax with 11 a.m. services Sunday morning. Pastor George F. Monts will bring the message.
