ELLAVILLE — On July 15, the Thomas Edwin Wall Post 191, American Legion held its Installation of new officers for the year 2010-2011. This was held on the Legion's executive meeting night.

These are the Officers that were elected for 2010- 2011 Legion year:

Commander Paul Grecol, Senior Vice Commander Wayne Malphrus, Junior Vice Commanders Frank Thrift and Allen Barwick, Adjutant Steve Bullock, Finance Officer James M. Ramsey.

The officers were installed by James Ramsey. As they were sworn in on Thursday night they became the new officers of the Thomas Edwin Wall Post 191 American Legion, here in Ellaville.

They had as their guest this special night the Ladies of the Legion Auxiliary as well as the other Legionnaires.

They were served a nice meal before the installation of officers.

As you have read these officers’ names as well as the other Legionnaires that belong to this Post and everywhere else, always remember that they put their lives in harm’s way for all of us. I will always step aside for any veteran of our United States.

Congratulations to all of these men. Thank you all and God bless America.
