• Justin T. Walton, 26, of Perry Road, Ellaville is charged with battery (Family Violence Act) and criminal trespass, and was jailed.

Incidents

• Entering an auto was reported on Hancock Drive where a silver money clip was reported stolen.

• Criminal trespass (damaged vehicle) was reported on Poplar Street and Forrest Street.

• Burglary was reported at a Murphy Mill Road residence.

• A domestic disturbance was reported at Eastview Apartments.

• Armed robbery was reported at Spectrum, 311 Tripp St.

• Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at U.S. Highway 280 and Briar Patch.

Arrests

• Terrance Boyd, 42, of 1706 S. Lee St., Americus is charged with possession of cocaine and probation violation, and was jailed.

• Van L. Brown, 42, of 702 Fulton St., Americus is charged with failure to stop at stop sign, driving while license is suspended or revoked and probation violation, and was jailed.

• Jockeen M. Smith, 28, of 216 Ashby St., Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Whitney R. Riddle, 27, of Rincon is charged with speeding 89 mph in a 55 zone.

• Rufus W. Short, 31, of 110 Labrador Trail, Americus is charged with speeding (51 mph in a 35 zone).

• Dagan D. Marvucich, 45, of 2010 W. Broad Ave., Apt. 85, Americus is charged with failure to obey a stop sign.

• Marvin J. Preston, 37, no address given, is charged with safety belt violation.

Incidents

• A deceased person was reported at a Brady Road, Leslie residence. Sumter County Coroner Greg Hancock said the death was of natural causes.

• Criminal damage to property (vehicle) was reported on Grover Drive.

• A fight was reported on Ga. Highway 49 South.

• Terroristic threats were reported at a Flintside Drive residence.
