Arrests

• Joseph Myers, 57, is charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct and was jailed.

• James A. Porter, 29, of 117 Ashby St., Americus is charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct and was jailed.

• Joshua L. Weber, 20, of 132 Strife St., Americus is charged with robbery, simple battery and obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers and was jailed.

• Jamison O. Wilborn, 21, of 80 Barbara Battle Way, Americus is charged with speeding, open container, violation of instruction permit, receipt, possession or transfer of firearm by convicted felon or felony first offender, possession of firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, possession of cocaine, probation violation and burglary and was jailed.

• Yehang Zhu, 42, of 800 Wheatley Drive, Americus is charged with simple battery and was jailed.

• Calvin T. Davis, 42, of 312 Tabby Lane, Americus is charged with simple battery and was jailed.

• Randy B. Ford, 22, of 217 S. Jackson St., Americus is charged with knowingly driving motor vehicle on suspended, canceled or revoked registration , removing or affixing license plane with intent to conceal or misrepresent, failure to maintain insurance, driving while license suspended or revoked and obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers and was jailed.

• Cedric A. Gatewood, 22, of 912 N. Jackson St., Americus is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

• Crisoforo Hernandez, 31, of 298 Brady Road Lot 32, Americus is charged with driving while unlicensed, brake light/turn signal violation and was released on bond.



Sumter County Fire Department

• Firefighters assisted EMS on Rawley Road.

• Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Hudson Street.

• Christopher K. Sellers, 25, of 124 Palmetto Road, Guyton is charged with parole violation and was jailed.

• Alonzo Waters, 44, of 118 Santa Resa Drive, Americus is charged with battery and was jailed.

• Tyrone C. Williams, 27, of 1331 2nd Montgomery St., Americus is charged with probation violation and was jailed.

• Nicholas A. Veilleux, 32, of 189 North Franklin Drive, Mount Dora, Fla. is charged with hunting while privileges suspended, purchase/possession of a hunting license after hunting privileges suspended and unlawful possession and transportation of wildlife after hunting privileges suspended and was released on bond.

• Julie M. Worley, 29, of 211 C Murphy Mill Road, Americus is charged with driving while license suspended  or revoked and was released on bond.

• Kenneth E. Boland, 29, of North Dolly St., Montezuma is charged with probation violation and was released with fine paid.

• Deanna R. Lewis, 25, of 171 Tulip Drive, Americus is charge with DUI and was released on bond.

• Leteyvia S. Murray, 30, of 411-B Crawley St., Americus is charged with probation violation and was released with fine paid.

• Stephanie Stiener, 28, of 106 Cedar Slough, Cordele is charged with DUI and was released on bond.

• Burglary was reported on Fieldstone Drive, U.S. Highway 19 South and East Main Street, U.S. Highway 280 East.

• Domestic disturbance was reported on Santa Rosa Drive.

• Theft was reported on Thomas Drive.

• A suspicious person was reported on U.S. Highway 280 East.

• Livestock in road was reported on Lee Street Road.

• An abandoned vehicle was reported on U.S. Highway 19 North.

• A vehicle fire was reported on Albany Road Annex.

• An alarm activation was reported on Tommy Warren Drive.

• Criminal trespass was reported on Sullivan Drive.
