Arrests
• Morales Sergio Ramirez, 20, of 1105-B Oglethorpe Ave., Americus is charged with driving without a driver’s license, DUI, underage consumption/possession of alcohol, and was jailed.
• Lakeshia Thornton, 29, 112 Bronco Drive, Americus is charged with being noisy/disorderly in a public place, and was released on bond.
• Antonio Lafayette Taylor, 39, of Americus is charged with operating a motor vehicle without registration/valid plate, driving while license suspended or revoked, operation of a motor vehicle while reigstration is suspended/cancelled/revoked and for no proof of insurance, and was jailed.
• La’Wade Darius Larry, 20, 612 Downwood Circle, Montezuma is charged with driving while licese suspended or revoked (second offense), no brake lights and possesion of marijuana.
• Bobby Fletcher, 55, 212 McCoy St., Americus is charged with reckless and dangerous use of firearms/dangerous weapons, and was jailed.
• Natoya Williams, 25, of 916 Martin Luther King Blvd., Americus was charged with disorderly conduct, and released on summons.
• Amber Charmita Sanders, 19, of 1110 Knollwood Drive, Americus is charged with being noisy and disorderly conduct in or upon any public street or other public place and consumption and possession of alcohol by minors, and was released on bond.
• Avery Sanders, 17, of 1120 Melody Lane, Americus is charged with being noisy and disorderly conduct in or upon any public street or other public place and consumption and possession of alcohol by minors, and released on bond.

• Sheila T. Walker, no age or address provided, is charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction, and was jailed.

Accident
• State troopers investigated a traffic crash shortly before 4 p.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 280 East near Felder Street.
According to the accident report, Angelia D. Holmes, 22, of Jacksonville, Fla., driving a 1997 Toyota Camry, was traveling west on 280 and attempted a U-turn to travel east. Meanwhile, Cornelia D. Sims, 44, of 130 Lexington Citcle, Lot 17, Americus, driving a 1999 Cadillac Catera, was traveling east on 280. Holmes failed to yield and pulled into the path of Sims’ vehicle, resulting in a head-on collision.
According to the report, both drivers were taken by Sumter EMS to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany.
Holmes is charged with improper turn.
