Arrests

• Otis C. Jones, 31, of 320 S. Jackson St. 6-B, Albany is charged with possession of cocaine and was jailed.

• Alexander Price, 53, of 308 Winn St., Americus is charged with probation violation and was jailed.

• Tellias J. Welborn, 20, of 797 Ravenwood Apts., Americus is charged with failure to appear in court and was jailed.



Incidents

• Entering an auto was reported on McGarrah Street.

• Loose change was stolen from a vehicle on Glenwood Road.

• A laptop computer and bag, network card, USB mouse, two wireless mouses, power cord computer and charger cord for Blackberry were stolen from a vehicle on Daniel Street.

• Loose change and an electronic cigarette were reported stolen from a vehicle on Rose Avenue.

• Cash was reported stolen from a Davenport Street residence.

• A laptop computer and bag, wireless mouse and power cord were reported stolen from a vehicle on South Lee Street.

• A hit and run traffic accident was reported at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, 122 U.S. Highway 280 West.

Arrests

• Steven B. Brown, 43, of 446 Arch Helms Road, Colquitt is charged with failure to appear in court and was jailed.

• Jason M. Hanson, 29, of 110 Jade Road, Americus is charged with driving while license suspended or revoked and DUI and was jailed.

• Jasmonique M. Lumpkin, 20, of 730 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Americus is charged with failure to maintain insurance and driving while license suspended or revoked and was released on bond.

• Carlos C. Styles, 22, of 306 Elberta Road, Warner Robins is charged with probation violation and was jailed.

• Carl M. Reid, 46, of 1918 Magnolia Court, Americus is charged with nonpayment of child support, and was jailed.

• Michael J. Richardson, 44, of Quitman is charged with probation violation and felony failure to appear in court, and was jailed.

• Jennifer L. Smith, 26, of 124 Myrtle Springs Road, Americus is charged with bribery, and was released to the Ellaville Police Department.

• Robert D. Smith, 23, of 124 Myrtle Springs Road, Americus is charged with failure to have license on person and DUI, and was released on bond.

• Sha’Neka L. Smith, 20, of 720 Harret St. Apt. 38, Americus is charged with disorderly conduct, and was released on summons to appear in court.

• Carl W. Walker, 54, of 420 S. Hampton St., Americus is charged with first-degree forgery. He turned himself in to authorities and was later released on bond.

• Benjamin T. Whitfield, 51, of Albany is charged with misdemeanor failure to appear in court, and was jailed.

• Chance A. Easom, 18, of 167 McMath Mill Road, Americus is charged with felony theft by taking. He turned himself in to authorities and was later released on bond.

• Chardynae S. Mann, 18, of 107 Graystone Place, Americus is charged with misdemeanor theft y shoplifting, and was jailed.

• Allison M. Rachels, 33, of Barnesville is charged with deposit account fraud, and was jailed.

• Rodney T. Carter, 34, of 588-B U.S. Highway 280 West, Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Daniel L. Dorsey, 46, of 1328-B E. Lamar St., Americus is charged with nonpayment of child support, and was jailed.

• Sandy T. Sampson, 54, of 114 Price St., Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Shots were reported fired on Cartwright Road.

• Deputies assisted a motorist on U.S. Highway 19 South.

• Deputies investigated 911 hang-ups on Jenkins and Arch Helms roads.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at Ga. Highway 45 North and Young’s Mill Road.

• Loud music was reported on Thomas Drive, Plains.

• A domestic disturbance was reported on Thomas Drive, Plains.

• A deputy responding to a traffic accident on June 10 on Ga. Highway 30 West hydroplaned and wrecked the patrol car. He was not injured.

• Fraud was reported on U.S. Highway 280 West.

• Livestock in the roadway was reported at Bumphead and Wohlwender roads.

• A suspicious person was reported on U.S. Highway 280 West.

• Traffic accident involving a deer were reported on Thrasher Road and U.S. Highway 19 South.

• Burglary was reported on Graystone Drive.

• Criminal trespass was reported on Confederate Street, Andersonville.

• Wilson Battle Road was reported blocked.

• Deputies responded to a traffic accident on Ga. Highway 30 West inside Marion County.

• A traffic accident involving a deer was reported at Bumphead Road and Learning Lane.

• A suspicious person was reported on Quail Drive.

• Burglary was reported on U.S. Highway 280 East.

• Deputies assisted another agency at South Georgia Technical College.

• Deputies provided an escort on Andrews Drive.
