• Firefighters assisted EMS on Magnolia Street, Oglethorpe Street, Ridge Street, Greenwood Drive, Cherokee Street and Wynn Street.

• Firefighters responded to an alarm (no fire) on North Jackson Street.

Arrests

• Michael Ross, 19, of 108 Hanson Drive, Americus is charged with disorderly conduct, and was released on summons to appear in court.

• Theft by taking was reported on Cypress Drive.

• Burglary was reported on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

• Terrell Durham, 26, of Defuniak, Fla., is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Plezy Nelson Jr., 58, of 409 Sheffield St., Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• John Harvey, 43, of 138 North Village Drive, Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
