Arrests
• Charles J. Dunn, 48, of 901 Ashby St., Americus is charged with theft by taking, and was released on summons to appear in court.
• Lucas Bartley, 27, of 103 William B. King Drive, Americus is charged with failure to maintain lane, driving while license is suspended and DUI, and was jailed.
• Matthew B. Shaw, 26, of 332-C Buchanan Road, Plains is charged with making threats of violence, and reckless and dangerous of dangerous weapons. He was released on bond.
• Jack A. Davis, 50, of Leesburg is charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane, and was released on bond.
Incidents
• Theft was reported at a Sun Valley Drive residence.
• Keys and change were reported stolen from a vehicle on North Hampton Street.
• Juveniles with a gun were reported behind the Georgia Department of Labor, 120 W. Church St. Upon investigation, officers found three male juveniles shooting at birds with a BB gun.
• A gas drive-off was reported a Chevron Food Mart., 102 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
• A domestic disturbance was reported at a Magnolia Street residence.
• Theft was reported at a Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard residence.

Arrests
• Mark Hubbard, 34, of 203 17th Green, Americus is charged with battery, and was jailed.
• Edna Y. Orr, 33, of 1673 Ga. Highway 30 West, Americus is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
Incidents
• A car tag was reported stolen at a Hosanna Circle residence.
• Criminal trespass was reported at a Sylvan Drive residence.
• A small bag of suspected drugs was recovered at Sumter County Correctional Institute.
• A missing person was reported at a Charleston Drive residence.
• Domestic disturbances were reported at resident on County Line Snead Road and Ga. Highway 30 West.
• A dog was reported stolen at a U.S. Highway 19 South residence.
• Deputies responded to a fire on Ga. Highway 45 South.
