• Firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide alarm activation on Hancock Drive.

• Firefighters assisted EMS on North Lee Street, South Hampton Street, East Jefferson Street and Joywood Hills Road.

• Firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak on Hosanna Circle.

Arrests

• Jacob H. Hayman, 20, of 767 Ga. Highway 45, Colquitt is charged with DUI and failure to obey traffic law and/or control devices.

• Grant E. Joyner, 25, of 4108 Aqua Vista Drive, Pensacola, Fla. is charged with driving without a license on person, possession of a controlled substance, DUI refusal and expired tag.



Incidents



• An unruly juvenile was reported on Brinson Drive and Frieda Lane.

• An animal complaint was reported on Andrews Lane and Westside Drive.

• A stolen license plate was reported on Mayo Street.

• Theft by taking was reported on Jefferson Street.

Arrests

• Cornelius O. Calloway, 22, of 855 Summit Drive, Dawson was held for Dawson Police Department.

• Sheryl Evans,43, of 445 Poplar Street, Dawson is charged with affray and was jailed.

• Arthur Miller, 17, of 35 Park Lane Lot 7, Lumpkin is charged with carrying a weapon within school and was jailed.

• Nayshanna Moses, 18, of 1 Box 144 Richland Highway, Richland is charged with carrying a weapon within school and was jailed.

• Taurus J. Ware, 26, of 509 Orange Street, Dawson was held for Dawson Police Department.

• A missing person was reported on Greystone Drive.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at Sumter County Middle School on Bumphead Road.

• Harassing phone calls were reported at Granny’ Kitchen.

• Illeagal possession of a controlled substance was reported at Flint Area Learning Campus.

• Cruelty to children was reported on Highway 280.

• A civil matter and theft was reported at Sumter L.E.C.

• Domestic disturbance was reported on Hooks Mill Road and Main Street in Desoto.
