• Demetrice D. Brown, 30, of Sun Valley Drive, Americus is charged with colliding with a fixed object, driving while license is suspended or revoked and obstructing of an officer ,and was jailed.

• Benjamin A. Cousins, 35, of 601 Robert E. Lee St., Andersonville is charged with armed robbery, and was jailed.

• Andrea J. Fallin, 19, of 120 Lonnie Lane 76, Americus is charged with theft by shoplifting, and was jailed.

• Randy B. Ford, 21, of 217 S. Jackson St., Americus is charged with disorderly conduct, and was released on bond.

• Mary A. Guerrero, 48, of 400-A Ga. Highway 27 East, Americus is charged with battery, and was jailed.

• Latona G. Lembrick, 20, of 140 Lonnie Lane 227, Americus is charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers, and was released on bond.

• Wilber Mitchell, 51, of 120 Reddick St., Americus is charged with criminal trespass, and was jailed.

• Tayla R. Taylor, 19, of 120 Lonnie Lane 76, Americus is charged with theft by shoplifting, and was jailed.

• Joseph White, 37, of 626 Cowpen Road, Plains is charged with disorderly conduct, and was released on bond.

• Tyjerius K. White, 29, of 107 Sandstone Drive, Americus  is charged with disorderly conduct, and was jailed.

• Teresa A. Wilborn, 30, of 80 Statham St., Ellaville is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Forgery was reported on Oak Avenue.

• Theft by shoplifting at Fred’s on East Forsyth Street.

• Disorderly conduct and criminal trespass were reported on Town Creek Circle.

• An animal problem was reported on Valley Drive.

• Harassing phone calls were reported on Hosanna Circle.

• Obstruction and disorderly conduct were reported on South Jackson Street.

• Simple battery was reported on West Lester Street.

• Criminal trespass was reported on Taylor Street and East Forsyth Street.

• Theft by taking was reported on Barlow Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

• Simple assault was reported on East Forsyth Street.

• Jonathan J. Wallace, 22, of 140 Lonnie Lane, Apt. 235, Americus is charged with registration and license requirements, driving while license is suspended, and was released on bond.



Sumter County Fire Department



• Firefighters assisted EMS on two calls.

• A smoke scare was reported on Dellwood Drive.

• An equipment fire was reported on Carter Fish Pond Road.

• A controlled burn was reported at Ga. Highway 195 and Pennington Road and on Ga. Highway 30 West.

Arrests

• Reginal O. Smith, 33, of 901 Park Row, Americus is charged with driving while license is suspended or revoked, and was jailed.

• Nicolas O. Cox, 40, of 226 Freida Lane, Americus is charged with obstructing officers, and was jailed.

• Jamal R. Welborn, 18, of 229 Barnum Drive, Americus is charged with obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers and giving a false name, address or birthdate to law enforcement officers, and was jailed.

• Loud noise was reported on Briarpatch Circle and Ga. Highway 308.

• Domestic disturbances were reported on U.S. Highway 280 West, Daisy Drive, Sylvan Drive, May Fire Drive and Hooks Mill Road.

• Alarm activations were reported on Basket Factory Drive, Pearl Drive and Overlook Drive.

• Suspicious vehicles were reported on Jenkins Road, Farm Road and Holman Road.

• Theft was reported on Roy Vaughn Road and Ga. Highway 30 West.

• An alarm activation was reported on Industrial Boulevard.

• An unsecured door was reported on Hooks Mill Road.

• A suspicious person was reported on Ga. Highway 49 North.

• Burglary was reported on Tommy Hooks Road.

• A domestic disturbance was reported on Rainbow Terrace.

• Terroristic threats were reported at the Sumter County Board of Education on Learning Lane.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported on Santa Rosa Drive.

Arrest

• Cedric M. Wilson, 22, of 954 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Richland is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.
