• Theft by taking was reported on South Lee Street. A 42-inch black and silver Samsung plasma flat screen TV worth $600, a black and silver Sony CD/DVD player worth $50 and a Nintendo Wii game console with controllers worth $300 were taken.

• A hit and run traffic accident was reported on Bessie Mays Circle.

• Identity fraud was reported on East Furlow Street.

• Theft by receiving stolen property was reported on Jackson Avenue. An SB&T debit card was taken.

• A domestic problem was reported on Columbia Avenue.

• An animal case was reported on Town Creek Avenue.

• A burglary was reported at Magnolia Manor on South Lee Street. A brown men’s wallet containing various cards and personal papers and a silver money clip containing $35 were taken.

• A hit and run was reported on West Forsyth Street and Wheatley Drive.

• Theft by taking was reported on Douglas Circle. A Motorola cellular phone worth $20 was taken.

• Identity fraud was reported on Copper Hill Circle.

• Restraint of dogs and prohibition against nuisances was reported on Wheatley Drive.

• Burglary was reported on Felder Street. Three TV sets, a Panasonic DVD player, $50 , a 12-pack of Pepsi Cola and a six-pack of shampoo were taken.  

• Harassing phone calls were reported on Bessie Mays Circle.

• Burglary was reported on Elliott Street. One black Toshiba laptop worth $850 was taken.

• Entering an auto was reported at Americus Dance Experience on Ga. Highway 27 East. A gray/silver Tom Tom GPS and one ashtray filled with $3 in change were taken.

• A burglary was reported on Russell Street.

Arrests

• James D. Brown, 32, 1315 1st Montgomery St., Americus is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, and was jailed.

• Amy S. Deriso, 38, of 113 Mayfield Road, Americus is charged with driving while unlicensed, and was released on bond.

• Jimmy L. Jones, 33, of 101 Virginia St., Cordele is charged with probation violation, and was jailed.

• Antonio B. Lizzaraga, 20, of Pine Circle, Lot #34, Ellaville is charged with driving while unlicensed and defective equipment, and was jailed.

• James. F. Smith, 49, of 105 Sunvalley Drive, Americus is charged with criminal trespassing, and was jailed.

• Harassing phone calls were reported at a Blue Bell Lane residence.

• Disorderly conduct was reported on Georgia Southwestern State University Drive.

• A private property accident was reported on Basket Factory Road.

• A suspicious person was reported on Middle River Road.

• A domestic disturbance was reported on Ga. Highway 308 and Flintside Drive.

• An animal complaint was reported on Wiggins Road.
