According to a press release from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office investigations division, shortly after the arrest, a search was conducted at a home in which Wilson was seen leaving prior to his arrest on Wednesday. At the residence, authorities seized crack cocaine valued at $18,700, weapons and cash. Assisting in the search was the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Bureau of Investigations GBI Region 15 and the Americus Police Department.
Additional warrants for trafficking in cocaine and firearms violations will be issued in the future against Wilson.
