Americus judge still missing

AMERICUS — Sumter County Sheriff Pete Smith was notified earlier Thursday about a missing person, Russ Floyd Barnes, 48. He is described as a white male, approximately 6'2" and 230 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen driving a black 2008 Suburban, tag number CR2003 with pink letters "JLB" on the rear windshield. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office is using all available resources in an ongoing search both on the ground and in the air to locate Banres. The sheriff said foul play is not suspected at this time and further information will be forthcoming as available.
