SAVANNAH —
South University School of Pharmacy student Brandi L. Montgomery has been named to the Dean’s List with High Honors for fall and winter semesters and Dean’s List with Honors for spring semester. This semester she is doing her rotations at St. Joseph/Chandler Hospital in Savannah.
Montgomery graduated from Americus-Sumter County High School, third in class in 2007. She graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2011, with a bachelor of science in chemistry and has been attending South University School of Pharmacy since her acceptance in June 2011.
Montgomery is licensed in immunization, as a pharmacistintern and as Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. She is a member and leader in many different areas including vice president-elect of Phi Lambda Sigma, Pharmacy Leadership Society, secretary-elect of Kappa Epsilon Beta Gamma Chapter, chair-elect of American Pharmacy Association Operation Heart, member of Pharmacy Student Leadership Council, American Chemical Society and the Georgia Pharmacists Association.
She is set to graduate from South University School of Pharmacy in June 2014, with a doctor of pharmacy degree.
Her parents are Bob and Lisa Montgomery of Americus.

Twenty South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Phi Beta Lambda students from both the Americus campus and the Crisp County Center campus competed recently in the Phi Beta Lambda South District Competition at Middle Georgia State College in Macon and earned the right to advance to the state competition in Atlanta.

This soft-spoken individual sits at a desk in an office that is part of the organization she is encouraging others to find: Middle Flint Behavioral HealthCare. When told she was sought out because she is considered a true success story for those struggling with mental illness, she seems both embarrassed and pleased.
