AMERICUS —
The Staley Middle School Student of the Month Recognition Program recognized 27 students for September. The students and their families attended a breakfast sponsored by the school’s cafeteria staff. At the monthly event students shared personal accounts about their favorite teachers and subjects, their future goals, world problems they would like to solve, and advice to their peers and classmates. Students received congratulations and accolades from their principals and teachers along with certificates of recognition, medals, and other treats. September Students of the Month are 5th Grade:Courtney Coley, Charliea Griffin, Precious Lockhart, Joniquea Luster, An'tavious Mitchell, Le'shanna Ross; 6th Grade: Summer Felton, Tynasia Grimes, Darian Hall, John King, Trelisha Kleckley, Ty'kia Walters, N-Jiya Williams; 7th Grade: Eric Bell, Ricky Goober, Nailen Gray, De'shun Iverson, Lewis Myers, Jamiya Pringle, Jeramiah Thomas, Natiya Williams; 8th Grade: Marcus Alford, David Campbell, Jaylen Gray, A'daija Merritt, Shadtavis Nesbit, Jasmine Surles.
