AMERICUS — The Sumter Humane Society is having a Supply Drive every third Friday and Saturday of every month. They need any kind of Pedigree or Purina food ... dog or cat, dry or canned, and equine pine litter. Drop your donation off by the shelter between 11.a.n and 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. If you can't come out to the shelter, drop your donation off in Americus at Cafe Campesino, Draw Products, Ginger Starlin State Farm Insurance Agency, or those wishing to help can purchase the food at Farmer's Seed & Feed, and someone from the Humane Society will pick up the supplies.
