Four arrested in drug bust

AMERICUS — On Tuesday, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into numerous complaints of drug activity. The investigation led to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of marijuana, crack cocaine and prescription pills.

Among those arrested were James Dewberry, 32, charged with possession of cocaine, T.C. Hood, 26, charged with possession of marijuana, Kim Pilcher, 39, charged with possession of schedule 3 controlled Substance Hydrocodone and Gabriel Lakeith Hinton, 28, charged with selling of schedule 3 controlled substance (Hydrocodone.)
