MILLEDGEVILLE — Jessica Bivins' 3-pointer as time expired was a little bit too late as Georgia College escaped with a 60-59 overtime win against Georgia Southwestern on Tuesday night in the Peach Belt Tournament quarterfinals.

Chimere Jordan made two free throws for GCSU with 2.5 seconds remaining to tie the game at 52 at the end of regulation.

GSW finished 12-16 on the season.

ALBANY – Albany Tech rallied from a 56-50 deficit to knock off South Georgia Tech 60-58 in the opening round of the GJCAA Tournament. Rearkus McCrory's last-second shot missed as the Jets ended the season 14-16.
