Atlanta —
State Sen. Ross Tolleson, R-Perry, joined local music sensation Caylee Anna on a tour of the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Tolleson and Caylee Anna spent time with children decorating bandanas and passing out Atlanta Falcons hats to youth receiving treatment at the facility.
“It is my sincere wish that education about the Aflac Cancer Center of Children’s and the hope that they offer families and children will bring financial support for the organization, emotional support for the families and a cure for the many illnesses which threaten the future of these amazing youth,” said Tolleson. “I hope that our efforts today and proceeds from our benefit will encourage increased support for our citizens.”
Together, Tolleson, House Majority Leader Larry O’Neal and Caylee Anna will host “Kiss Childhood Cancer Goodbye” to benefit the Aflac Cancer Center of Children’s at 7 p.m. Dec.10 in Athens.
