AMERICUS — Charlie Leon Marchant of 116 O’Hara Road, Americus, died Monday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lee Street United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lee Street United Methodist Church, 1102 S. Lee St., Americus GA 31709 or to the charity of one’s choice.
