Sethna to speak at GSW graduation Friday
AMERICUS — Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) holds its Spring 2008 Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday in Convocation Hall in the GSW Student Success Center.
An estimated 220 students are expected to graduate. The community is invited to attend.
University of West Georgia President Beheruz N. Sethna, Ph.D., is the commencement speaker. Elizabeth Kuipers, Ph.D., GSW associate professor of English, will deliver the reflection, and the greeting will be given by Regent Doreen Stiles Poitevint of the Second Congressional District.
A graduation breakfast is planned for 8:30 a.m. in the Marshall Student Center Dining Hall. The President's Reception will be held immediately following commencement on the Northside Plaza of the Student Success Center.
