BREAKING NEWS: Sumter County recommended for food processing plant location

Americus-Sumter County Payroll Development Authority (PDA) Executive Director David Garriga told Authority members at Tuesday's monthly meeting that Sumter County has been recommended by Georgia Power to a "very large food processing company" for location. If the company locates here, it would provide a minimum of 150 jobs.

The Times-Recorder will have more on the PDA meeting in Wednesday's edition.
