SAVANNAH — Authorities in Garden City have found a body believed to be that of an elderly woman who had been missing since early Sunday.
Garden City Police Chief David Lyons says the body was found Monday at about 3 p.m. in thick brush and was believed to be the remains of 85-year-old Doris Langford.
Lyons said Langford suffered from early stages of Alzheimer's disease.
He said investigators have not determined how she died.
