AMERICUS — Several vehicles were entered overnight Wednesday in Americus, and several items were stolen.
The residences are located in Rose Avenue, Valley Drive, Daniel Street and Valley Drive Extension, all in southwest Americus. Two other incidents occurred on Lonnie Lane and Lullwater Lane.
Items reported stolen from the vehicles include an amplifier, loose change, two pairs of work gloves, a cordless drill, a portable GPS, a book bag, a Nintendo game system and three game cartridges, a Georgia driver’s license, a credit card, a debit card, an iPod, a 9-mm caliber pistol and cash.
Local law enforcement reminds residents to keep their vehicles locked and not to leave anything of value in a vehicle in clear view, even in your own driveway or garage.
