PRESTON —
Students in Eddierene Prather’s fourth-grade study skills class at Webster County Schools identified multiple meaning words. The students worked in groups to compile a list of multiple meaning words and presented the list to the class. Afterward, each student had to write two sentences that included a multiple meaning word and correctly illustrate the meaning. The students enjoyed illustrating the multiple meaning words. When he died after a falling accident in June 2012, his friends really missed him. Two of those friends, Travis Kelly and Rebecca Ferguson, decided to carry out a race event that Williams had planned, to benefit the Methodist Youth Home in Americus.
