Phillips, Smith, Norton, Rhodes family reunion held in Cordele
CORDELE — Descendants of Lennie T. and Ida Phillips, L. T. and Gladys Phillips, Alma P. Casey Smith, Dorothy P. and A.V. Norton, and Pearl P. and Woodham Rhodes (all deceased) gathered Oct. 11 at the Cordele Community Clubhouse for their annual family reunion.
Those 94 attending the event and enjoying the wonderful food and fellowship were Gloria N. The Sumter County Board of Commissioners has a special called meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Board of Commissioners’ Board Room to discuss the approval of any contracts with any municipalities that have elected to contract with the Sumter County Board of Commissioners for providing fire and emergency services.
