The Americus Fire & Emergency Services and utility workers were working Friday afternoon to get power back on to an Americus neighborhood after a tree took down power lines and power poles.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. and resulted in loss of power to the Ridgeway Drive, Willet Way, Wildwood Circle neighborhood.
