AMERICUS — Americus

The New St. Paul Baptist Church

Family and Friends Day is celebrated Sunday Jan. 3. Sunday School is at 10 a.m. and worship service will be at 11 a.m. The community is invited.





The Breath of Life Ministry

Watch Night service will be at 10 p.m. on Dec. 31. The speaker will be Benny Clark. The public is invited.





Spring Creek Baptist Church

The ushers will be celebrating there eighty first anniversary on Sunday Jan. 3 along with regular service. Sunday school will start at 10 a.m. Deacon James Cutts will speak on ushers and the Rev. Perry Gibbons will deliver the sermon.



Campbell Chapel A.M.E.

Gospel Explosion 2010 will be held at 4 p.m. Jan.. 17. There will be bands choirs, soloists, artists, dancers, musicians, praise teams, singers, groups, rappers and more. The event will be held at the Clarence Jordan Center on Church Street in Americus.



Cobb

New Beulah Baptist Church

Youth and Young Adult Day will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 3, 2010. The guest minister will be the Rev. Ronald Wilson of Albany. Everyone is invited to attend.



Lumpkin

House of God Apostolic Church

First annual Family and Friends Day with communion will be at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday Jan. 3. The Inspirational Singers from Cordele will render the music. Bible Study is held every Monday at 7 p.m. and Evangelistic Service is every Thursday at 7 p.m..

Pre-installation service for Bishop Tremaine O. Alford Sr. will be held Jan. 27-29 at 7 p.m. nightly.



Plains

Rylander Church

On Saturday Jan. 2 a Gospel Sing featuring the Harmon Boys from Camilla. There will be a covered dish supper at 6 p.m. followed by the sing at 7 p.m.
