Rotary Club donates to Americus Blue Tide Swim Team

AMERICUS — Mark Waddell, president of the Americus Rotary Club, presents Coach Tim DeMott of the Americus Blue Tide Swim Team a check to assist the team purchase new safety equipment. The funds are part of Rotary District 6900 Simplified Grant program. Coach DeMott stated, “Being able to train with up to date equipment helps our athletes practice and compete with a sense of pride in themselves and in their community.” The Rotary Club of Americus has partnered with ABT as they continue to teach water safety to more than 100 children over the last year.
