AMERICUS — • On our Web site Jan. 28th, it was reported that Bill Harris was the president of Cafe Campesino. Harris is the president of Cooperative Coffees. Harris stated in an e-mail that he never felt he was in danger during the mudslides in Peru.

• In an article Friday titled “Man robbed on Lee Street,” Col. Eric Bryant, chief deputy for the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, was erroneously identified as the person who gave the Times-Recorder the information. Assistant Cheif Nelson Brown of Americus’ police department gave the Times-Recorder the information.

• In an article that ran in Wednesday’s paper called “Hospital board discusses law suit,” it was reported that Marketing Director Marcus Johnson for Phoebe Sumter Regional Hospital updated the members of the board about the new hospital’s construction. Phoebe Sumter Regional Hospital’s CEO Keith Peterson did.
