AMERICUS — On Tuesday Feb. 9, Magnolia Manor will host “Game Night.” Kicking off at 7 p.m, the evening of fun and games will be open to the public. “There will be Bridge, Canasta, Chinese Checkers and many other games,” said organizer Ruth Jones.
Jones, a Magnolia Manor resident, coordinated the event to raise money for the League of the Good Samaritan. Jones also helped organize the Love Walk fundraiser that was held in Oct. 2009 at Magnolia Manor.
“You can call and request certain games. We are open to any kind of game,” said Jones.
Game Night organizers will also provide refreshments and prizes for game winners.
There will be a $15 charge per person. Arrangements to attend can be made by calling Ruth Jones at 942-2829.
