AMERICUS —
Shortly after the last day of the 2009-10 school year, administrators and office staff personnel of Sumter County Schools began preparation for the 2010-11 school year that begins Aug. 2.
The “Panther Preview” is planned for individual class members to visit the 805 Harrold Avenue front office site to learn of their schedule, purchase parking permits and receive lock assignments.
Around 900 sophomores, juniors and seniors are expected for the coming school year. Seniors were scheduled to report Monday; juniors reported today and sophomores report Wednesday.
If students cannot attend this Panther Preview on assigned times and dates, they may visit the front office to receive their information at the open house, scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 3.
