AMERICUS —
Our Birth Place, the Labor & Delivery Unit at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special event at 5:30 p.m. today at the new facility.
Special guests will be some of the young men and women who were born in 1987, in the unit at the old hospital (then known as Sumter Regional Hospital).
