Phoebe Sumter Medical Center to offer weight loss, metabolic surgery program
Phoebe Sumter Medical Center and Phoebe Sumter Surgical Associates are teaming up to offer a weight loss and metabolic surgery program for the treatment of obesity. The program is under the direction of Dr. Jeremy Joyner and Dr. Sean Sheff of Phoebe Sumter Surgical Associates.

Southland hosts Lower School Speech Contest
Southland Academy hosted its first Lower School Speech Contest for grades 3-5 on March 12 in the Academic Center of the Deriso Building. Thirteen talented finalists were in the competition: Maddie Crisp, Hannah Adkins, Kayla Hudgins, Ryleigh Bell, Brookland Weaver, Hannah Adkins, Elizabeth Law, Emma Griffin, Katie Rogers, Parker Reeves, Nathan Duke and Rylan Youngdale.
