AMERICUS —
Thomas Albert Curry, 79, of Hawkinsville, Ga., died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, in Dooly County, Ga. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. today, Feb, 19, 2012, in the chapel of Clark Funeral with Dr. Kelly Pritchett, the Rev. Freddie Rhodes and the Rev. Robert Daughtry officiating. Burial will be private.
Mr. Curry was a native of Pulaski County, Ga., and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Albert was a member of the Pulaski Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Nelson Curry of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Thomas Charles (Deborah) Curry of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Anita Curry (Dennis White) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Joyce Wammock of Hawkinsville, Ga.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Mary Myers Obenauf of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and Jean Myers Ivis of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Visitation will be from 3-3:45 p.m. today before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Program or the American Diabetes Association.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga.,is in charge of arrangements.

Billie Jean Pugh Cosby, 83, of 2124 U.S. 280 West, Plains, formerly of Preston, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, in the chapel of Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lee Smith and Laurie Hartley officiating. Burial will follow at the Preston City Cemetery. Funeral services for Lt. Col. (retired) Uriah McGrady of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Smithville, Ga., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, at Green Grove Baptist Church. The Rev.
