Woodmen support Sumter County Schools

AMERICUS — Woodmen of the World, Americus Lodge No. 202, recently made a generous donation to Sumter County Primary School to help with travel and lodging expenses for 115 second-graders and their upcoming, May 6 and 7, Fine Arts overnight trip to Atlanta. The students and chaperons will visit the Georgia Aquarium, tour The High Museum of Art, enjoy a show at the Fox Theatre and visit The Center for Puppetry Arts. The cost per student is $75. Additional funding is welcome. For the fourth consecutive year, students from Sumter Primary will experience overnight travel to Atlanta and fine arts activities in this new environment.
