South Georgia Technical College’s Crisp County Center computer information systems (CIS) program recently held an advisory meeting in the college’s board room on the Midway Road campus.
Members of SGTC’s computer Information systems committee met with SGTC computer information systems instructor Randy Greene and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs eborah Jones. The members reviewed all aspects of the programs to keep the program abreast of trends and changes in the field of computer information systems.
The purpose of the advisory committee meetings is to provide expert support for the program the committee represents. The meetings promote interaction between the program and business and industries served by the program. The faculty uses the expertise of the advisory committee to improve content and operation of the program.
Members of the committee present at the advisory meeting were Rusty Slade of Planters First, Morgan Forrest of Apollo HealthStreet and Berry Doyle of the Crisp County School System.
