Cordele — South Georgia Technical College’s (SGTC) Crisp County Center club officers recently helped support America Recycles Day by distributing pins, stickers and pencils to their fellow students. The purpose was to educate and encourage others to recycle, and reduce their carbon footprint. Since 1997, communities across the country have come together on Nov.15 to celebrate America Recycles Day.
