AMERICUS — These sixth-grade science students at Southland Academy are learning about climate zones of the world. To illustrate these zones, each student constructed a paper pyramid for the three major zones (tropical, temperate, and polar) and drew a picture of an animal or plant found in each zone, with a definition of the zone. As you can see, the pyramids also made great hats to wear for the photo.
