Schley students give thanks to others

ELLAVILLE —  As Thanksgiving approaches, students in Julia Scoggins’ class at Schley County Elementary School gave thanks to their teachers, administrators and classmates. Students were given cards to express their reason for being thankful for each classmate, teacher, and member of administration.

Students completed the cards and placed them in bags with the individual’s name on it. At the end of the week, each individual was given their bag of cards to read. As the cards were read, excitement and honor filled the classroom.
