AMERICUS — Get out and vote Tuesday



It’s finally here. Election Day is Tuesday. If you are a registered voter, you should get out and vote, after all it’s your civic duty. The polls will close at 7 p.m. so there will be plenty of time.

Casting your vote to make your opinion known is something unique to a democratic society. The privilege of voting is fundamental to who we are as a country and the democratic process depends heavily on people turning out at the polls. Make sure you caste your ballot, no matter how you vote.

You can’t complain about the results if you fail to vote.
