AMERICUS — Words without deeds are fruitless

When the show is over today (Martin Luther King Jr. holiday), what will the performers do afterward? Will they hang their costumes, and makeup, in their closets, until next January? the majority of them, only recognize the dreamer, on the M.L.K. day. It sadden my spirit, to see that the majority of these well worshipers, only see the color of Dr. King skin, and not his dream. His birthday is use in many cases as a weapon to beat white folk over the head, failing to realize his dream, encompass all nations, whosoever you may be. In one of his speeches, he said if we were to go back to business as usual, we would be in for a rude awaking, and we are living in the rude awakening today. For the racists, Dr. King never tried to keep God movement black, neither did he view all white people as his enemy. And especially when whites was marching with him, and many of them died in God's movement to free the oppress, and the oppressors. I never heard Dr. King use derogative words against his, and God's enemies, In one of his speeches, he address them as our sick white (brothers). How do you feel about people of different ethnicity? When i look at the troubles in the ghettos of America, which seem to compounding themselves daily, even though there are Churches on every corner, and sometimes two, or three on that corner, which only shows, they are (not) effectual). Why? their words are without deeds. Colossians 3:17 say, whatsoever you do in word, or in deeds, do (all) in the names of Jesus, giving (thanks) to Jehovah by him. Why is the most dangerous place for a child to live today, is in the womb of a woman? and the next place is the ghettos? You may ask why is that true? and i will agree with the Bible, which say, the watchmen are sleep, and the dump dogs are not barking to warn the people, both black, and white church leaders, are preaching words, without deeds to back the words up. Millard Fuller lived the dream, through actions. We can change the world. Shalom.
