AMERICUS — Battle doesn’t reflect majority

I am going to say this one last time — Danny, jacob maybe a God fearing man, but he still does not speak for the majority of his neighbors near his store nor the majority of the people in Americus, that includes Koininia and Habitat. Census data denotes that you and yours are not the majority of people in the city of Americus or Sumter County. I am sure Mr. Battle means well, but only God knows his heart. Come to think of it, Judas was a God fearing man but somehow he betrayed Jesus. THE LAST WORD ON JACOB.

Allow me to thank the many citizens for your interest and input into how your Board of Education operates in Sumter County. While some may consider citizen input as being obstructive, I can assure you that it is my goal for those who fund our system to find a transparent system who is responsive to the needs of our students while being mindful of the dollars being spent.

When will Sumter pass Sunday alcohol measure?

A Harris County passed a measure that would allow alcohol sales at  retailers and by the drink on Sunday.

This means grocery and liquor stores in Cataula and Fortson will be able to sell alcohol on Sundays after 12:30 p.m. and that  restaurants will be able to offer alcohol sales by the drink on Sundays.

When is Sumter Co gonna follow and step into 2012 Sunday sales will  boost tax revenue something seriously needed here in Sumter

Fools love foolishness

Proverbs 18:2 say, A Fool, hath no delight In understanding, this statement Is very descriptive of the majority of denominations today. Psalms 14:1 say the fool has said In his/her heart there Is no God. These are words which the Bible spoke In the past, and are still speaking today. Jesus the Savior spoke of the fool In Luke 24:25, Jesus said O fools, and slow to heart to believe all the prophets have spoken. You see It Is a fool who try and pick which scripture he, or she will believe In, while questioning the other scriptures. You see all scripture Is giving by the Inspiration of God, and Is profitable for doctrine, for correction, for reproof, for Instruction In Righteousness. Paul talk of the fools In Roman 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. When a person change the truth of Almighty God Into a lie, they are a fool, when God say he made only a male, and a female, and you call him a liar, you are a fool. Paul further describe the fools, 1:29:30, being filled with all unrighteousness, Fornication, Wickedness, Covetousness, Maliciousness, (full of Envy, Murder, Debate,Deceit, Malignity, Whispers, Backbiters, Haters of God, Despiteful, Proud, Boasters, Inventors of evil thing, Disobedient to parent, and on. Paul conclude with the reward for the fools, and their supporters, Roman 1:32 they all are worthy of death. The Holy Book say let every man become a liar, but let God be true, are you fighting with God, In word, or In your deeds? The Fool say It's a woman right to murder her child In abortion. Repent fools, and ask Jesus to save you, he is waiting, and willing. The Bible call you a fool, I agree. Shalom to you If you obey.

World needs more like Jacob Battle

I have been reading lots, lately, about the letters written by Jacob Battle. I don’t know him personally, but I think his letters are great. Don’t let these letters people write about your opinion stop you. If we had more people in the world that felt like you do. The world would be a better place. I don’t always agree with some things but most of them are inspirational.
