When good things happen in my life, I love to share it with everyone I know. That is the reason for this letter.
A few weeks ago I was suffering excruciating pain in my neck, along with tingling and numbness in my right arm. I had disc restoration surgery on my neck in 2001. The pain and symptoms that I started experiencing were exactly the same. It got so bad that I asked my medical doctor for something to relieve the pain until I could go to a neurologist.
Some weeks prior to this event, I had read the insert authored by Dr. Eric Codner of the South Georgia Clinic in your newspaper. I decided to give Dr. Codner’s office a call in the hope that he could help me. My family had never used chiropractors before, so I wasn’t sure if I would benefit from this type of natural healing treatment. Now, I am not criticizing any other type of medical practice as I have been going to a medical doctor in Americus for several years and I trust him completely.
That was four weeks, ago and the tingling in my right arm and hand has completely disappeared! Also, I’d suffered several years with restless legs syndrome. This, too, has disappeared! I am also seeing a significant improvement in my neck. Where I had not been able to turn my head to the right or left, I am gradually regaining this motor skill. Oh yes, the pain in my neck area? It is bearable enough that I am not taking any pain medication! The atmosphere in his office is one of warmth and friendliness. I feel like I am truly important to him and his staff as they have bent over backwards to assist me with my appointments and they have truly been a comfort to me on days when I suffered a case of the “blues.” I leave the office after each visit with a good feeling — a feeling that I am going to get well naturally the way God intended. And, I must share with you that these wonderful people are Christians, which is No. 1 in my book! I have even started an exercise regimen in order to lose weight before my son’s wedding in 2009!
In closing, let me stress that nobody asked me to share my experiences with Dr. Codner. I have done this on my own accord. Like I said, when good things happen in my life, I love to share them with everyone I know. So, now you know!
