AMERICUS — Stands in fear of Jehovah

Through the grace of God, and my acknowledgement of his omniscient, omnipresent, along with his preeminence throughout the universe, i stand in a place of fear. I have heard many people say that you are not to be afraid of Jehovah, and their reason is, he is a God of love, very true, which he is. But, Mose would instruct you differently with the experience he had, at the burning bush. If you had 250 volts of electricity, with 800 amps would you respect it, and also be afraid of it? this is something which is comprehensible, Jehovah is not. we are finite being, who cannot understand themselves. But in each individual there is a search to understand the creator, and his actions, which is unattainable in this life. There was a book written on the subject where is the location of Jehovah, when there is pain? That is a fair question to ask in an ignorant state. but are we as inquisitive when thing are well? A very close Friend of mine in Haiti, who look like my mother, told me of a friend of her who lost her husband, and two sons, to death, and when the well wishers ask her to pray, she ask them, to which God? When disasters happen in our lives, and there is no answer, or understanding, joy is replace with hurts, and sadness, and nothing make sense, most of us struggle with the word why? We see God differently, disappointing, and, even as a enemy. And because we cannot condense him to please our emotions, many are driven from him, rather then to him. Lyvole friend ask, am i to pray to the God who hurt me? with disasters, after disasters, which are occurring all over the earth, women, men, and children dying by the millions, Christians being murder along with these other devastation, one may get caught up in a moment of John"s question, are you Jehovah? are should we look for another. I believe the reason we are experiencing these tragedies, we have replaced Jehovah with other gods, and Jehovah he will not accept any other god over him. God is a consuming fire, Are you ready to die, are to live, it your choice, believe in Jesus, and live. Shalom.
