AMERICUS —
Union Tabernacle Baptist and Central Baptist faced off in the Sumter County Parks and Recreation Department's church league softball championship with Union Tab winning the "if" game by a 13-8 score on Tuesday night.
Central forced the decisive game by winning 14-9 earlier Tuesday.
The story and photo was planned for Friday, but because of unexpected space constraints, they will run Sunday.
