ELLAVILLE — Schley County athletes, parents and fans came out to the high school Thursday evening to meet the new members of the athletics staff.
Joining the staff are David Kessler, Chandler Schofield and Brian Hall. Kessler, who led South Gwinnett to the 5A state title in 2004, will take over the boys basketball program.
It will be Schofield’s first coaching job as she takes over the girls basketball program.
And Hall comes from Marion County Middle School. He will replace Rusty Tondee, who is moving up to be the high school’s principal.
